Star Fleet Battles Online is not a perfect replication of the experience of a Star Fleet Battles tournament. It is the differences between SFBOL and SFB that make it necessary to require all subscribers follow these procedures. Penalties for noncompliance range from a warning to forfeiture of the game in question. Continued noncompliance may result in termination of the SFB Online subscription of the offender.

Symbiotic Games reserves the right to alter the procedures listed below without warning.

1. Requests for Ruling (or Appeal of Same)
   All requests for a ruling in an Star Fleet Battles Online event should be sent through e-mail to the judge(s) listed for the event. Each judge may elect to forgo the preceding requirement on a case by case basis should (s)he be online at the time of the request. All e-mail traffic sent to or from a judge shall be considered privileged information by all parties who receive said traffic.
2. Privileged Information
   All information described as privileged shall not be retransmitted by any means. The judge(s) of an event shall decide who should receive information or requests for same.
